Company of Fools is a theatre company driven by the power of the theatrical experience to connect artist and audience. Whether through performing or teaching, we seek to engage, inspire, entertain and transform. We listen deeply - to our community and to ourselves as artists - and respond through a creative process that resonates with and contributes to the world in which we live.
OBJECTIVIES
Consistent with its mission statement, Company of Fools is committed to the following objectives:
• To connect a disconnected world – one play, one class, one conversation at a time.
• To explore and illuminate stories of the human heart connecting them to today’s audience.
• To cultivate and nurture its artists, including directors and designers, who are uniquely and specifically trained in the fools’ creative process, thereby creating a truly distinct voice in the American theatre.
• To advance theatre as a vital art form.
• To deepen and expand the artist/ audience connection.
• To build for the future by training potential young artists and celebrating the child’s creative voice through arts-in-education programming.
